We regularly carry out inspection and testing for our customers in addition to maintenance and new electrical installations. Emergency Lighting

We offer a range of emergency lighting services to suit the needs of your business. Our specialist team of competent engineers can design, install and maintain your emergency lighting system to ensure that you are fully compliant with British Standards (BS5266 as amended).

We can provide many types of emergency lighting from fire exit signs to floor lighting. We can adapt all emergency lighting to the specific layout of your building. Regular testing needs to be done to ensure that health and safety regulations are met. We can provide all inspection and testing that needs to be completed on all types of emergency lighting. 

Lighting and Power Systems

ARB Electrical Ltd are able to offer your business a complete lighting and power system service suited to your needs. We offer a complete and professional service from your initial consultation to installation.

Additionally, we have a dedicated team of Lamping Engineers who answer between twenty and thirty calls a day to renew faulty lamps and fluorescent tubes for several of our existing clients; unless there are special circumstances lights are always repaired on the first visit.

Landlord Enquiries

Enquiries from landlords welcome, as we can provide a full electrical service to meet your requirements, including Electrical Installation Condition Reports, portable appliance testing, and all maintenance and repairs for premises located throughout Cardiff and South Wales.

The purpose of an Electrical Installation Condition Report, sometimes called a “landlord safety certificate”, is to assess the condition of an existing electrical installation. It is a very useful way for a new or prospective landlord to assess the condition of the domestic electrical system. The result is usually an investigation, of defined scope (either full test or sample test), followed by issue of a certificate including relevant test results and recommendations to remedy problems. Landlords are obliged to carry out such an inspection at regular intervals or in the case of change of tenancy of their property.
